You can rent and get dressed in a traditional Japanese costume, furisode. Furisode is a long-sleeved kimono that is a kind of a Japanese traditional gorgeous costume for women. You can also get simply arranged hair style suitable for furisode and rent a Japanese style hair ornament for free of charge. Then have the chance to walk around the city and see the sights in this traditional attire.
Please return the furisode and others you rent by 7pm.

Kyoto Kimono Rental Rei is a kimono/yukata rental shop located in Gion district in Kyoto, Japan. Our prices are reasonable, you can experience Japanese traditional culture reasonablly.
You can visit famous sightseeing sites such as the Yasaka-shrine, the Chion-in and the Hanamikoji Street in approx 2 minutes from our shop on foot. The Kiyomizu-dera and the Heianjingu Shrine are also within walking distance. There is a bus stop right by our shop. The location is very convenient for sightseeing, so you can use your time effectively after wearing kimono/yukata.
English-speaking, Chinese-speaking and Japanese-speaking staff are available.

Our staff cordinate your kimono/yukata according to your preference. You need not make yourself uneasy about kimono/yukata experience.
All items necessary for dressing a kimono/yukata are included in the kimono/yukata rental plans. Just bring yourself!
You will be provided a memorable experience of the Japanese traditional culture at reasonable cost.
Our shop is located in the Gion district in Kyoto which is famous for being the geisha district. It is very centrally located and easy to find for someone not from the area.
We are accepting orders such as experiential learning of Japanese traditional culture for high school, cllege and university students because we wish to let a lot of people know virture of kimonos.

Approximately 10 minutes on foot from Kawaramachi Station, Hankyu Line & Gion-Shijo Station, Keihan Line.
Approximately 20 minutes by Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station, JR, Kintetsu and Kyoto Subway Line to ‘Chionin-mae’.
The bus stop is right by our shop.
From Kawaramachi Station or Gion-Shijo Station, walk along the Shijo Street to the East (approx. 5 minutes). Turn left at the end of Shijo Street (in front of Yasaka Shrine). Walk along the Higashi-ohji Street to the North (approx. 3 minutes). You will find traffic lights. From the crossroads, please walk to the North about 30 meter more. You will find the sign board of our shop on the West side of the Higashi-ohji Street. Our shop is located on the 5th floor of the building.From ‘Chionin-mae’ Bus Stop, please walk to the South (approx. 1 minute). You will find the sign board of our shop on the West side of the Higashi-ohji Street. Our shop is located on the 5th floor of the building.
