FURLA will release FURLA FW19 JAPAN EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION, which represents Japanese traditional patterns in collaboration with the new generation design project of Kyoto, “MILESTONES”, from August 28, 2019.
The design inspiration was the pattern used in Nishijin Ori. Nishijin Ori has been nurtured in the ancient city of Kyoto with overwhelming support from aristocrats, samurai and townspeople since 1200 years ago.
● 3Patterns meaning ●
〇The pattern of “Karakusa” means fertility, the goddess of fertility, and the prosperity of descendants representing the history and history of the treasure of Shosoin. The grain is an image of a flower. It is said that it is.
〇The “butterfly” pattern is said to mean immortal wishes, symbol of immortality, activity, beauty, elegance and magic.
〇“Treasure Chinese” (also known as arabesque) is a pattern handed down from India to China. It is one of Zuisho-mon used for Buddhist decoration and Buddhist art.
